Position: Digital Marketing Assistant (Entry-Level)
Type: 100% Remote | Independent Contractor
Hours: Begins at 2 hours/day with potential to grow to 6–8 hours/day
Pay: Starts at $13.50/hr during training; potential for increase based on performance

About the Role:
We’re a fast-growing digital marketing agency that supports small businesses and nonprofits with custom, thoughtful marketing strategies. We’re looking for a reliable, highly organized Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, entry-level role designed for someone who’s detail-oriented, a fast learner, and ready to grow with us.
You’ll help with tasks like social media scheduling, website updates, file organization, and internal tracking. The right candidate will start with guided training and gradually transition into working independently—with the flexibility to expand hours as needed.

Training Schedule & Availability:

  • Initial training: 2 hours per day on Zoom, preferably Monday–Friday during standard business hours (EST)

  • After training: Flexible hours (up to 6–8 hours/day), but must be reachable and responsive during business hours


Note: Pay starts at $13.50/hour during the training period. Raises may be available based on reliability, quality of work, and overall contribution to the team. Additional compensation opportunities available — including project-based bonuses, commissions on referrals or sales, and extra pay for taking on overflow work

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and publish social media posts using Meta Business Suite and similar tools

  • Upload and organize files in Google Drive

  • Follow structured checklists and training guides for platform tasks 

  • Help maintain internal spreadsheets and task trackers

  • Communicate clearly with the team and flag any issues proactively

  • Complete tasks independently once trained
     

Requirements:

  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized

  • Responsive during business hours (8 AM–5 PM EST)

  • Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable with remote work and online communication

  • Willing to learn and follow clear training processes

  • Bonus skills (not required): Canva, Wordpress, WIX, Metricool, Meta scheduling, Mailchimp, Zoho Vault
